Start with your next workout.
- Choose A, B or C.Open Today and start the next full-body workout. The shorter version uses one working set per exercise. Keep the warm-up and normal rest.
- Record what you actually do.Enter your load and repetitions, then confirm the set. A rest timer starts after a completed set. For an exercise performed on each side, complete both sides before logging that set.
- Save and review.Finish the session to add its completed sets to History and Progress. The next session can remember your previous load. Uncompleted planned sets do not count as completed work.
Use Pause & close when you need to stop. Three saves the unfinished workout so you can resume it, with paused time excluded from active duration.
Use a comfortable range of motion and stop an exercise if it hurts. The included routine is fitness guidance, not a medical diagnosis or treatment service.
A monthly check-in.
In Measurements, choose the month and enter the values you measured. Weight, chest, waist, hips, left/right upper arms, thighs and calves are optional. Leave unmeasured values blank; at least one numeric value is needed to save a month.
Saving the same month updates that month’s record. Each record retains its own pounds/kilograms and inches/centimeters. Monthly measurements stay in Three and its backups; they are not read from or written to Apple Health.
Your records & backups.
Where are my records saved?
Workout history, an unfinished workout and monthly measurements are stored in Three’s local app data. Three has no account or developer-operated server. Operating-system device backups may separately include local app data according to your settings.
Do my iPhone and Mac sync automatically?
No. They keep separate detailed records. Apple Health summaries do not transfer individual exercise sets or measurements between the apps. Export a JSON backup and import it on the other device to move those records.
How do export and import work?
Use the app’s backup menu to export a JSON file, then use Import backup on the destination device. The file contains your workout history, unfinished workout, measurements and notes. Import merges workout IDs without duplicating them and preserves the newer edit for each measurement month.
A backup is a readable file. Choose where you save or share it, and keep exported copies private. Summaries read from other Health apps are not included.
How do I correct or delete a record?
Open a session in History to edit or delete its Three log. Monthly measurements can also be edited or deleted. The app offers an Undo action for the most recent deletion while it remains available. Deleting a local record does not remove an earlier exported backup or a workout already saved to Apple Health.
Apple Health, on iPhone.
Open Guide & Health → Connect Apple Health in Three on iPhone. Apple’s permission sheet lets you choose Workouts read/write access. Health is optional; local logging works without it.
With the permissions you grant, Three can show shared traditional and functional strength-workout summaries from the last 90 days and save completed Three sessions with their recorded active duration. It does not request heart rate, body weight, calories, steps or clinical records, and it does not invent calorie readings.
If shared history is empty
Apple does not tell an app whether reading permission was denied. Empty history means no shared summaries are available to Three; it does not prove permission was granted. Review Three’s permissions in Apple Health if needed.
If a saved workout needs correcting
Edit or delete the entry in Apple Health itself. A Health export remains as originally recorded even if you later change its local Three log.
The Mac app logs locally and does not access Health data.
AEKE runs alongside Three.
Three shows the exercise order and the name of your AEKE template. Open AEKE separately to run the machine block, and log your actual load and reps in Three. There is no automatic AEKE set feed or machine control.
If you substitute another movement or piece of equipment, record it in your session notes and leave the original exercise unlogged, so its progress chart does not mix different loads.
